Summary: Lovely balcony and view, good location, modern. Would be good to have the basics for eating, eg - a glass for water, kettle, cutlery, small fridge. Also, ve prepared fir a climb up the stairs if you're on the top floor. All in all, a very good price for what we got.

Summary: Could not rate our experience here highly enough. From the minute we arrived (free parking just steps from the front door) the first impressions were very pleasing We were checked in by a smiling, very helpful member of staff and given a room with a stunning view of the bay. Beautiful Room was spacious, very comfortable and quiet Breakfast was excellent, easily found and served in a room with an excellent view Access to the town and harbour by foot could not have been easier. Great staff, very helpful

Summary: Good kitchen staff but the room’s toilet was smelly. I vomited twice every time i went to the toilet, on the first night itself. The pungent smell was really strong. I called reception at 3 am wanted to change room but no one picked up. The next morning, i had to buy electric scented oil warmer to reduce the pungent smell.

Summary: Unfortunately I was checked in to a room that the bed linen was not changed. I reported this the next day and asked for clean linen but no accountability or apology. Disappointed!! The hotel itself is lovely. An error or just bad housekeeping !!!

Summary: Easy access from Picton Ferry terminal. Had to park around side on gravel because car park was full, not that it was a. Issue, only on luggage wheels. Stair and lift access to rooms. Small king size bed, slept well enough though. TV could only access one station, all other services were unavailable. Large room, clean and tidy. View glimpses of water and harbour. We had continental breakfast included but ordered and paid for extra shot cappuccinos, which we could not drink because they were far to hot and the large cup weakened the flavour of coffee.

Summary: Picton Yacht Club Hotel is clean and conveniently located. My suite (402) apart from the bathroom was very spacious. The heated towel rack was a nice touch. And now for the negatives: there are no bedside tables. There is no light switch near the entry door. From certain parts of the bedroom the clear glass, uncurtained bathroom window aligns perfectly with the floor to ceiling windows of a nearby restaurant but fortunately not when in the bathroom. To exit the hotel I and guests in some other rooms have to walk along an external corridor with a door at the end. One evening this door was locked and couldn’t be opened meaning I had to use the open air fire escape stairs to exit the building. Apparently this is not the first time this has happened. Another evening there was no lighting in the external corridor. I would not stay there again.
